Russia’s energy ministry said that Pakistan and Russia have recently signed an agreement to build the Stream gas pipeline in Pakistan.
Ambassador of Pakistan to Russian Federation Mr Shafqat Ali Khan had signed the Protocol to an IGA, Inter-Governmental Agreement with Nikolai Shulginov, who is the Minister for Energy in Russian Federation in Moscow.
This is a flagship Russian-Pakistan energy project that will enhance the bilateral cooperation in hydrocarbon sector just between both of these countries; however, it will be a huge uplift of technology for Pakistan.
