According to the Pakistan Army, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down an Indian ‘flying object’ that invaded Pakistani airspace and breached international norms.
Major General Babar Iftikhar, Director-General of the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), stated at a press conference that Pakistan strongly condemned the Indian violation of its airspace on March 9 at 6.30 p.m. in the Mian Chanoo area.
According to him, the ‘flying object’ travelled 124 kilometres within Pakistan from India. The DG ISPR said no casualties took happened because of the incident. He advised the media not to speculate on the topic, and the Pakistan Army is keeping a careful eye on the situation.
According to a Pakistan Army spokesperson, we are waiting for an explanation from the Indian side about the occurrence, since India has been conducting such investigations in the past.
