Pakistan’s football exports hit $256.7 million in the fiscal year 2025-26. This marks an 11.72 percent rise from $229.8 million the year before. The strong results come from official data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
Overall sports goods exports also grew. They climbed 10.08 percent to $424.35 million. Exports of other sports items rose 16.93 percent to $108.06 million. However, glove exports fell 5.91 percent to $59.57 million.
Sialkot remains the heart of this industry. The city produces high-quality, hand-stitched footballs known worldwide. Pakistani balls are used in major international events and supplied to global markets. The sector benefits from skilled workers and a long tradition of craftsmanship.
June 2026 saw a drop in exports. Football shipments fell sharply that month. Still, the full-year figures stayed positive. Growing demand linked to events like the FIFA World Cup 2026 helped the annual total.
These numbers show Pakistan’s solid place in the global sports manufacturing market. The industry earns valuable foreign exchange and supports many jobs. With continued focus on quality and new markets, the sector can keep expanding.
