The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has chosen Islamabad’s Jinnah Stadium as the location for their home match against Cambodia in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifier. The match is set for October 17, following an away game against Cambodia on October 12.
PFF’s Normalisation Committee (NC) confirmed sending the venue details to AFC and FIFA, awaiting their approval. PFF NC member Shahid Khokhar mentioned that they’ve officially nominated Jinnah Stadium for the match.
It’s expected that FIFA will inspect the venue before giving the final approval. Jinnah Stadium last hosted a significant event in 2014, the SAFF Women’s Championship.
