After another clinical win over Namibia, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan declared that Pakistan can beat any side in the Twenty20 World Cup semi-finals.
Pakistan was the first team from Group 2 to reach the final four after winning four Super 12 games in a row. Pakistan will play the Group 1 runners-up, most likely Australia or South Africa. Rizwan, on the other hand, claims that his high-flying side has no idea who their opponents are.
“We don’t see the other team,” Rizwan explained. “Whoever makes it to the semi-finals, we can beat them, and with our team’s performance, we’ll win that as well.”
