Pakistan Navy Wins 32nd National Shooting Championship Title

The Pakistan Navy emerged as the winner of the 32nd National Shooting Championship held at the PN Shooting Range, securing an impressive total of 36 medals. Their haul included 16 gold, 15 silver, and five bronze medals, placing them at the top of the competition.

On the final day of the championship, Navy athletes delivered outstanding performances. In the women’s 10m Air Pistol event, Rasam Gul claimed the gold medal with an exceptional score of 239.6 points. Her teammates, Hadia Liaquat and Rabia Kabir, earned silver and bronze, making it a clean sweep for the Navy in this category.

The Navy also achieved success in the team category for the 10m Air Pistol event, winning the gold medal with a total score of 1703 points. In the Trap event, Zafar ul Haq and Farrukh Nadeem from the Army took the gold and silver medals, while the Navy earned silver in the team competition for the same event.

After six days of intense competition, the Pakistan Navy finished as the overall champions, showcasing their dominance with the highest number of gold medals. The Army secured second place with a total of 12 gold medals.

This victory highlights the Navy’s consistent excellence in shooting sports and their dedication to achieving top honors in national competitions.
