Pakistan Ranked 108th Out of 137 in Happiest Countries List

Pakistan has been ranked 108th on the list of the world’s happiest nations, according to US experts using data from a Gallup Institute study.

The report aimed to create the list while mapping life evaluation, taking into account aspects like income, health, emotional support, freedom of choice, charity, and the lack of corruption. On that basis, the nations were rated on a three-year average between 2020 and 221 from top to bottom.

A total of 137 countries are listed in the ‘World Happiness Report,” published on Monday, with Finland retaining its top position for the sixth consecutive year and Afghanistan remaining in last place for the third year in a row.

Although Pakistan’s ranking this year has marginally improved from last year’s position of 121 out of 146 countries, the report also stated that Pakistan’s required data was not available this time, forcing it to rank using older data.

Aside from Afghanistan, Pakistanis are ranked happier in the area than Indians, Sri Lankans, and Bangladeshis, who are ranked 126, 112, and 118, respectively.
