Pakistan Ranks 105 in World Happiness Report 2021

On Sunday, the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UNSDSN) released the World Happiness Report 2021, which ranked Pakistan 105th out of 149 countries.

For the fourth year in a row, Finland has been called the world’s happiest country, followed by Iceland, Denmark, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany and Norway.

Pakistan has been rated as being happier than India, which is ranked 139th. According to the survey, Bangladesh is ranked 101st and China is ranked 84th. Afghanistan’s people are the unhappiest, followed by Zimbabwe (148), Rwanda (147), Botswana (146), and Lesotho (145).

Despite being one of the world’s wealthiest nations, the United States (US) ranks 19th in terms of happiness.

The World Happiness Survey is a survey of global happiness in which 149 countries are ranked according to how happy their people say they are. The countries are ranked based on responses to Gallup World Poll questions. The results are then compared to other variables such as GDP and social security.
