Pakistan Releases 198 Indian Fishermen in Goodwill Gesture

Pakistan stated cordiality by releasing 198 Indian fisherman from Karachi port. As per the reports, the fishermen were taken from Landhi prison to Cantt railway station Karachi. The chairman of Edhi foundation, Faisal Edhi departed the fishermen with some presents as well.

Although Pakistan was to release 200 fishermen but unfortunately two of them died. Actions has been taken to deport the dead bodies to India.

The remaining 198 fishermen will be forwarded to Indian authorities at Wahga Border Lahore. The fishermen were detained as they crossed the water territories due to lack of technology as there are no clear water borders.

Will this goodwill gesture initiate good terms between the neighboring countries or not is yet to be decided.
