Pakistan sees, Highest ever monthly exports worth $2.47 billion in October.

Shaukat Tarin, the Prime Minister’s Finance Adviser, stated on Monday that the country’s exports have reached another another milestone, with the highest ever exports of US$2.471 billion in October.

According to the financial adviser, imports totaled US$24.99 billion in the first four months of the fiscal year, up 64 percent from US$15.19 in the same period last year.

He revealed the numbers, saying that the export target for October 2021 was set at US$2.60 billion, and it remained at US$2.471 billion, up 17.5 percent from the same month the previous fiscal year, when it was US$2.104 billion.

“Exports remained at US$7.576 billion in the first four months of FY 2021-22, compared to the stated target of US$9.6 billion,” he added, adding that this was a 25% rise over the previous year’s similar time.
