Pakistan to Play 3-Matches Test Series Against Australia in Dec-Jan 2023/24 Australian Soil

Cricket Australia (CA) has announced that Pakistan will embark on a tour of Australia for a highly-anticipated 3-Test series following the conclusion of the 2023 World Cup in India. The Australian team will remain in India after the tournament to engage in a bilateral white-ball series before returning home to face Pakistan.

The much-anticipated series will kick off Australia’s 2023-24 home summer, with the first Test scheduled to take place in Perth from December 14 onwards.

This marks Pakistan’s return to the Western Australia capital for a Test match after a long hiatus since 2004. Notably, it will also be the first Test match held at the new Perth Stadium, adding an extra layer of excitement for cricket fans.

The last time Pakistan played a Test match in Perth was in 2004, where they suffered a significant defeat by a margin of 491 runs at the WACA Ground. The upcoming Test series provides an opportunity for Pakistan to redeem themselves and showcase their progress since their last encounter in the Western Australian city.

Both teams will be eager to put their skills to the test in what promises to be an enthralling battle. The Australian team, known for their aggressive and competitive style of cricket, will be determined to maintain their stronghold on home soil and secure victory against their formidable opponents.

On the other hand, Pakistan, with their rich cricketing history and talented players, will be keen to make their mark and challenge the Australian team’s dominance.
