General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) has recently met Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Mehmet Pacaci at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
As per Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Bajwa said that brotherly ties with Turkey is highly valued for Pakistan which are deep seated in history.
Further added, in a meeting matters of regional security situation, mutual and professional interest as they specifically focus on defence and security collaboration between two countries. Moreover matters of regional security situation
Moreover, he said that they value brotherly relation with Turkey very much as we are connected deeply in the past times and ingrained in cultural and religious traditions.
Turkish Ambassador admire Pakistan’s role in regional firmness and looking forward to play their role for improvement in diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan. ISPR further confirmed.
Commander Turkish Land Forces General Musa Avesever also called on General Bajwa at the GHQ earlier this month, as per ISPR
Both the countries agreed to optimum defence and security collaboration, specifically in training and counter terrorism sectors.
