Pakistani-made Footballs to Shine at Doha World Cup

In the ranking list of the FIFA World Cup, the national football team of Pakistan has been listed as the 200th among 211 teams, but over 200 million residents of the country will still have a feeling of connectivity with the FIFA World Cup finals of 2022, which will take place in Doha this winter.

The massive upcoming event, which is expected to be held in the winter rather than the summer season due to the sweltering heat in Qatar’s capital, is attracting footballs from Pakistan and China.

It is an honourable moment for us and evidence of the excellence which we have continued to retain, that we have been selected to provide footballs for the World Cup, one more time, “Khawaja Masood Akhtar stated,” the chairman of Forward Sports, a subcontractor manufacturer of a well-known sports company named Adidas.

The company’s biggest operations staff, which are being hidden far away on the outskirts of Sialkot, are implementing some extra time to ensure the arrival of footballs on time.

The city, which is at India’s border, is really famous for the creation of sporting items of the finest quality and has been providing footballs for major games for a long time.

The creation of football is not Sialkot’s main spirit. It is also known for supplying sporting items like hockey sticks, shiny (cricket and hockey) balls, and other products like kits, shoes, and gloves.

The supply of sporting products generates around $1 billion per year across the country, with footballs accounting for $350 million to $500 million as a whole. Because of some restrictions imposed by Adidas, Akhtar refused to provide the exact number of footballs the company will ship for the World Cup.
