Pakistanis Consumed Tea Worth Rs. 110 Billion in 10 Months

Pakistani’s fondness for tea did not get affected despite the economic downfall. According to the statistics released by the Federal Bureau of Statistics, an import of food worth Rs. 1,838 billion has been made in 10 months, in spite of dollar shortening.

Pakistan’s food import bill ended at $7.76 billion. In addition, Pakistanis have consumed tea of worth Rs. 110 billion in only 10 months. The report has also mentioned the figures for palm oil import worth Rs. 730 billion, Pulses import worth Rs. 195.63 billion, Soybean import worth Rs. 61 billion, and spices import worth Rs 30.54 billion have been made.
