Eight-year-old Pakistani author and concept artist Izyana Umair has launched her second book, “The Art of Giving,” at the Karachi Marriott Hotel, marking another achievement in her young writing journey. The book was launched at a ceremony on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
Izyana is a Class 4 student at SMSA Khan School and is recognised as one of Pakistan’s youngest story writers and concept artists. She has also been nominated for a Guinness World Records title for her work as a young writer and artist. The publisher of the book is H.O.C Publications, which continues to give up-and-coming authors and young creative voices a forum.
Her first book, “Read, Color and Trace,” was released on August 28, 2025. The book also combines reading, colouring, counting, saving and spending in a child-friendly way.
H.O.C Publications also gave Izyana Umair the “Outstanding Literary Achievement and Creative Excellence in Writing” Award for her work, recognizing her as Pakistan’s youngest concept artist.
The launch ceremony also marked Izyana completing her Ameen-e-Quran, making the occasion an important milestone for her family.
