Pakistan’s Exports Reach $100 Million Per Day in February

According to the Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood, export growth managed to reach USD 100 million per day in February 2022 for the first time.

Advisor to the Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood, addressed a consultative meeting to discuss trade trends for the Fiscal Year 2021-22 (FY) here.

According to the provisional statistics presented by the PBS (Pakistan Bureau of Statistics), the Advisor was notified that exports from Pakistan started growing by 7.9 percent to $2.820 billion during february compared to $ 2.614 billion in January 2022.

In february, they have increased by 36.4% as compared to $ 2.068 billion.

He was notified that there were indications that the expansion in imports has started to decrease. In febraury 2022, the imports reduced by 2.14 percent to $5.907 billion as compared to $ 6.036 million in January 2022.
