Pakistan’s First Space Museum to be set up in Islamabad

Now, the National Astronomical Observation Commission’s Science Committee is planning on establishing a museum in the federal capital. In a meeting chaired by the Federal Minister of Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhary made an important announcement.

He said that the museum will be constructed and built within a span of 8 months. Furthermore, in Gwadar and Islamabad, 5 astronomical ‘observatories’ will be set up.

The minister also tweeted about it saying, that one should look at the moon and beyond the stars and explore the future of the universe. He also announced that in their respective capitals, the provincial governments have been ordered to construct space museums.

On this front, the Ministry of Science and Technology has been making some great developments. The ministry played its part in assisting the National Disaster Management Authority in these tough times in which the country is battling a global pandemic by providing locally manufactured ventilators.
