Pakistan’s First Victory in the Test Series Against South Africa in 17 years

Pakistan won the second test match by 95 runs convincingly at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and whitewashed the Proteas in the historic series. In 17 years, this was Pakistan’s first victory in the Test series against South Africa.

Hasan Ali emerged as Pakistan’s Rawalpindi Test hero as he on Monday bundled-up the South African batsmen with another fiver-for in the second innings.

With a 95-run win in the second test on the fifth and final day, Pakistan won its first series against Proteas by 2-0 since 2003.

Pakistan has taken South Africa’s fifth place in the ranking of the International Cricket Council (ICC) after wrapping up the series 2-0.
