Pakistan’s rising golfer, Ahmad Baig, made headlines with a fantastic performance at the Asian Development Tour (ADT) Championship held in Cambodia. Baig finished in second place with an impressive total of 19-under-par over four days of intense competition. This result not only highlights his skill but also establishes him as a promising player in the golf world.

Baig played consistently throughout the tournament, starting with a solid round of 2-under-par, followed by an outstanding 7-under-par on the second day. On the final two days, he kept up his form by posting back-to-back 5-under-par rounds. By the end of the third round, Baig had taken the lead, demonstrating his ability to compete under pressure in such a challenging event.

However, on the last day of the championship, Thailand’s Nopparat Panichphol played exceptionally well, shooting a 7-under-par round. The ADT Championship had a prize pool of $100,000, and Baig’s second-place finish earned him a prize of $11,500. His remarkable effort in Cambodia also moved him up to second place in the overall ADT rankings, a significant milestone in his career. Baig’s performance not only brought him recognition but also reflected his potential to become a top golfer on the international stage.

This achievement is a major boost for Ahmad Baig and a moment of pride for Pakistan. His strong showing at such a prestigious event is a promising sign for his future, as he continues to make a name for himself in the sport of golf.
