Pakistan’s Kishmala Talat Becomes Asia’s Second-Best Female Shooter

Kishmala Talat, Pakistan’s leading female shooter, has achieved an impressive ranking as the second-best female shooter in Asia for the women’s 10m air pistol category, according to the latest annual rankings from the Asian Shooting Confederation. Talat accumulated 1,350 points, putting her just behind India’s Esha Singh, who holds the top spot with 1,500 points. Additionally, Talat ranks 29th in the women’s 25m pistol event, highlighting her skill across multiple shooting disciplines.

Expressing her gratitude, Talat shared her feelings on this achievement, saying, “Allah has blessed me abundantly. I’m humbled and thankful to all who supported me.” She is motivated to improve even more in the coming year, with the hope of reaching even higher accomplishments.

Talat has already made history as the first Pakistani female shooter to qualify directly for the upcoming Paris Olympics, a milestone that has brought her immense pride. She remains dedicated to representing Pakistan with excellence on the international stage. Other talented Pakistani shooters, such as Ghulam Joseph and GM Bashir, are also advancing in the rankings, reflecting the country’s growing strength in competitive shooting.
