Pakistan’s Medical University plans to Establish its Campus in Kabul to Facilitate Afghan Students

To provide superior education to Afghan students, Khyber Medical University (KMU) plans to create an offshore campus in Kabul.

In a meeting with a delegation from the Consulate General of Afghanistan, Varsity Vice-Chancellor Professor Ziaul Haq announced the idea.

Haq stated that a huge number of Afghan students are currently receiving an education in Pakistan, and that the Afghan nation’s suffering over the last several decades has been felt by all Pakistanis, particularly the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that KMU was not only giving MBBS and BDS education to Afghan students, but also training in nursing, physiotherapy, public health, and allied health sciences.
