MedznMore, Pakistan’s leading health-tech startup, has decided to shut down its operations due to the country’s worsening macroeconomic conditions. Co-founder Saad Khawar revealed that the decision was made in early June, citing challenges in raising funds as a contributing factor.
Currently, the management is engaged in discussions with potential buyers for their technology and brand, Tabiyatdotpk, while ensuring that any remaining obligations are settled. Despite not achieving the anticipated outcome, Khawar expressed great pride in the company they had built and the exceptional team behind it.
MedznMore was founded in September 2020 and made headlines in October of the same year by securing an unprecedented $2.6 million in seed capital. This investment round was the largest in Pakistan’s history at that time.
