This is not Butt’s first major win. In August 2022, he made history by winning Pakistan’s first gold medal in the men’s 109+ kg weightlifting category at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Butt’s recent victory in Uzbekistan adds to his growing list of accomplishments, and his continued success is a source of national pride. His father believes that Butt’s dedication and hard work will lead to even more victories in the future, further establishing him as a top athlete in the sport.
