Pakistan’s Nooh Butt Clinches Gold at Strongman Games 2024

Pakistan’s Nooh Dastgir Butt won a gold medal in the Hercules Columns competition at the Pahlavon Mahmud Strongman Games 2024, held in Khiva, Uzbekistan.

Butt competed against athletes from 16 different countries and showed outstanding strength and determination to win the competition. His father and coach, Dastigar Butt, was very proud of his son’s achievement and said he expects more successes in the future.

This is not Butt’s first major win. In August 2022, he made history by winning Pakistan’s first gold medal in the men’s 109+ kg weightlifting category at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

He set a new record by lifting a total of 405 kg. This achievement was a significant milestone for Pakistan in the sport of weightlifting.

Butt’s recent victory in Uzbekistan adds to his growing list of accomplishments, and his continued success is a source of national pride. His father believes that Butt’s dedication and hard work will lead to even more victories in the future, further establishing him as a top athlete in the sport.
