Pakistan’s posts expenditures exceed its revenue by Rs. 10 billion

The Senate Standing Committee on Communications, chaired by Senator Prince Omer Ahmedzai, was informed that the Pakistan Postal Services’ has an annual revenue of roughly Rs. 15 billion and an annual expenditure of Rs. 25.5 billion.

The director general of Pakistan Postal Services briefed the board on the postal service’s presentation and organization.

He stated that there are 47,348 authorization roles, 31,635 of which are permanent employees and 8,436 of which are vacant.

The commission was informed the following year by the secretary of communication and the AGPR would pay for the workers’ pensions.

Senator Prince Ahmed Omer Ahmedzai, committee chairman, states that the Pakistan Postal Service must strive hard to improve facilities similar to TCS and other carrier services to generate income.

The Standing Committee was given a detailed update on the institute, occupation, and daily operations of the Ministry of Communication, including divisions.

According to the Chairman Committee, the Ministry of Communications is a significant division, and by working together, they may achieve development by removing barriers to functions and complete collaboration for healthy infrastructures was ensured via Secretary Communication.
