PCB has introduced the new Trueman 3 bowling machine at the National Cricket Academy to improve the training of cricketers. The advanced machine is expected to help players prepare more effectively by creating a realistic practice environment that closely matches actual match conditions.
One of the machine’s main features is its synchronized LED bowler animations, which are based on the real bowling actions of different bowlers. This allows batters to see movements similar to those they would face in a real match, helping them improve their timing, shot selection, and overall performance.
The Trueman 3 bowling machine also gives coaches complete control over different bowling settings. They can adjust the speed, swing, line, length, bounce, and other bowling variations to create different practice situations.
Coaches can also save customized bowling sequences, allowing players to train against specific types of deliveries and repeat practice sessions whenever needed.
Director High-Performance Aqib Javed said Pakistan is the first cricket board in the world to introduce this advanced training technology. He believes the machine will play an important role in improving the skills of national and emerging players by providing high-quality practice opportunities.
Pakistan all-rounder Salman Ali Agha also welcomed the new technology. He said the machine offers batters a realistic match-like experience and helps them prepare for the challenges of modern-day cricket.
According to him, practicing against different bowling styles in a controlled environment will improve players’ confidence and decision-making.
The introduction of the Trueman 3 bowling machine reflects the Pakistan Cricket Board’s commitment to using modern technology to develop players. Officials believe this investment will strengthen the country’s cricket system and help produce better performances at the international level.
