Mohsin Naqvi, who wears two hats as Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Interior Minister, has a busy schedule ahead. He’s set to visit the national players’ fitness camp in Kakul this Saturday. During his visit, Naqvi plans to meet with players, share an Iftar dinner, and discuss team matters. He’ll be joined by members of the selection committee for this important visit.
Naqvi’s days are packed with interior ministry duties, but he dedicates his nights to reviewing PCB matters. Earlier meetings focused on team captains, coaches, and other PCB affairs.
The fitness camp, organized with the Pakistan Army, aims to prepare players for upcoming series and tournaments. These include T20I matches against New Zealand, fixtures in Ireland and England, and the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies.
Running until April 8, the camp emphasizes team spirit and player resilience. Coaches and trainers will lead tailored training sessions focusing on fitness, agility, leadership, strategy, and overall performance improvement.
