PCB Demands $25,000 Per Deal as USA’s Major League Cricket Approaches Players

The management of Major League Cricket (MLC) has asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) if national players can participate in the league. Sources say that the PCB has agreed to allow national players to join the league but with a condition.

Instead of giving No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to Pakistani players, the PCB has asked for a fee of $25,000 if any national player is selected in the MLC draft. Players who choose to participate in the league will need to pay this compensation fee to the PCB.

The PCB representative mentioned that they will give permission to Pakistani players once this condition is met. The Major League Cricket tournament is set to happen in the United States from July 13th to July 30th and will showcase top cricketers from around the world.
