The Pakistan Cricket Board today announced a partnership with Television Content Analytics (TVCONAL), a worldwide artificial intelligence and machine learning firm, to provide world-class game and player analytics that will be incorporated into every live HBL PSL 2022 match.
TVCONAL will offer novel analytics and deep insights into the game, ranging from predictive analytics on game outcomes to individual player performance metrics, the chance of a wicket based on previous games played under the same conditions, and player evaluation indexing to determine whether a particular player has over or underperformed.
Recognizing the importance of performance data and statistics for both superfans and new fans, incorporating these insights into live coverage will allow for deeper narrative as the game evolves and will provide context for novice cricket fans.
TVCONAL’s state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and machine learning models are used to collect novel data points from the content. These data elements will be updated on a ball-by-ball basis to provide the most accurate information about each delivery.
