Monsoon rains are expected in various districts of Punjab province till August 7. Spokesperson PDMA Punjab says that there are chances of a reduction in the intensity of monsoon rains.
The flood situation is normalizing in the rivers of Punjab, the water flow is normal at Tarbela, Chashma, and Kala Bagh.
Water flow is normal in Jasar, Shahdara, Baloki, Jhelum, and Chenab rivers, while there is a low-level flood in the Sutlej River at Head Sulemanki and Islam.
The spokesperson further informed that there is a possibility of a high-level flood at Mangala in Jhelum River during August 4-6.
