A group of guides and tourists had a unique experience in the Kumtag Desert in China’s Xinjiang Province.
A video clip is going viral on social media showing a group of tourists traveling through the desert when their hair suddenly stands up like hedgehogs.
It can be seen in the video that as soon as this group of tourists reached the top of the desert mound, their hair stood up and a sensation like sound started resounding.
Due to which these people could spend only four to five minutes on the mound and then came down.
In this regard, scientists say that this happened because there were clouds on the heads of the tourists that contained electric current.
In such clouds, water vapor, ice crystals and other elements in the atmosphere are electrically charged, causing the hair to stand upwards.
