PIA achieves highest-ever safety ratings from SAFA

The European Air Safety Watchdog, SAFA, recently bestowed the highest-ever flawless safety ratings on Pakistan’s national flag.

SAFA, or Safety Assessment for Foreign-Origin Aircraft, inspects all non-European airlines at various airports across the world on a surprise and recurring basis. Because PIA has been under investigation since the pilots’ licence scandal surfaced, SAFA inspectors conducted extensive audit checks at major international airports.

SAFA dropped PIA’s safety danger index to zero, the lowest possible hazard level, after no irregularities were identified in the previous two weeks.

Because of a strong focus on improvement, PIA averaged 0.5 throughout the most of 2021. With a safety value of zero, PIA is presently among the finest airlines in the world with the safest operating histories.
