PIA to Resumes Air Safari Flight after 14 Years to Promote Tourism

The national flag carrier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has recently announced to continue its Scenic Air Safaris Flight to boost up tourism in the country.

They aimed at attracting more tourists to the country’s picturesque northern region. A PIA presenter said the foreign tourists expressed excitement to see Pakistan’s beautiful mountain range. He said Air Safari was popular among the tourists and this would help promote tourism in Pakistan.

PIA in its official statement invites travelers to be part of a “once in a lifetime experience where you will have an excellent view of the world’s highest snowy mountains” and on a scenic journey with spectacular views of the world’s highest mountains and blue-green lakes.

The Safari flight service has been renamed as ‘Sadpara Air Safari’ in honor of Pakistan’s famous mountaineer who unfortunately lost his life during the K2 winter expedition this year.

The initial flight of Air Safari will fly from Islamabad to Skardu as they have completed all the arrangements for relaunching of PIA’s Air Safari service. This will be a one-weekly Air Safari flight for Skardu from Islamabad and throughout the flight, the tourists will see 13 places while its one-way ticket price will be Rs25,000.

PIA had recently begun its flight for Saidu Sharif, whereas they had also started the PIA flights from Lahore to Skardu.
