Pilgrims Continue Performing Tawaf Around the Kaaba in Makkah Despite Stormy Rainfall

Pilgrims and residents in Saudi Arabia’s holy city of Makkah witnessed extreme weather condition as strong winds, lightning, and intense rainfall swept across the region on Tuesday.

Several videos surfaced on the internet capturing the sight of pilgrims participating in the Tawaf despite the drenching downpour and slippery surfaces caused by the heavy storm. Several objects were also seen carried away by the force of wind and rainfall.

Amidst the relentless storm, lightning also struck the renowned Fairmount Makkah Clock Towel casting an illuminating glow across the night sky. Notably, workers were seen grappling with the slippery surface while ensuring their safety.

Despite the challenging circumstances of heavy rainfall and strong winds, pilgrims remained resolute in performing Umrah.
