Pilgrims for Hajj Decline To 60,000 From 2.5 Million

Hajj Pilgrims declines from 2.5 Million to 60,000 in 2021 as Saudi Authorities paused the travelers to Holy sites which are a part of Umrah which is the “lesser Pilgrimage” which goes on for the whole year.

As Covid-19 attacked the whole world last year, the authorities put a limit on the travelers who travelled for the “main pilgrimage” known as Hajj which attracts millions every year in normal environment of the world as it is one of the five Pillars of Islam, those who are financially and physically able, need to perform Hajj at least once in their lifetime. This limit on travelers by Saudi Arabia spread sadness and disappointment all over the Muslim World.
