PM Imran Khan talked about the Education System Of Pakistan, he said after independence we should have put our focus on developing a system to create the nation and correcting the education system.
He said the English medium system was not changed because many politicians thought it would make their children privileged and get a high status in society due to which English-Medium School numbers were increased due to which many issues arised in creating a nation and a similar culture had problems.
He criticized the system and talked about his own experience saying that when he went abroad to England for further studies after graduating from Aitchison College, he felt like “ through the education system, I was distanced from my culture and religion, I felt like an English-public school boy, not a Pakistani”.
He further added, that the system was inherited from British, who built schools like English-medium to “create a class in India who think like them, has their attitudes but were of Indian color and through them they can govern the big Sub-continent”.
