Former Pakistani cricket captain and renowned fast bowler, Wasim Akram, made a lighthearted comment about the cricketer Shahnawaz Dahani. During a local sports show, someone asked if Dahani could sing, and Akram responded humorously by saying Dahani should stick to his cricket because his singing was not very good.
Shahnawaz Dahani was part of the Pakistan Shaheens’ squad for the Asian Games in 2023 but didn’t get a chance to play in any matches. Prior to that, he was called up for the Asia Cup in 2023 as a replacement for Pakistan’s Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, who were injured. However, when Dahani arrived in Sri Lanka, the Pakistan national team had already been eliminated from the tournament.
It’s important to note that Dahani’s last One Day International (ODI) for Pakistan was in August 2022 against the Netherlands, and his last appearance in T20 Internationals (T20Is) was in October 2022 against New Zealand.
