PM directs authorities to facilitate Chinese investors for setting up industries in Pakistan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the relevant authorities to make it easier for Chinese businessmen to set up businesses in Pakistan by resolving their difficulties with road connectivity and utility supplies.

He told a Chinese business delegation in Islamabad that Pakistan and China are linked not just in the past and present, but will also be linked in the future. The Prime Minister promised to give preference to Chinese enterprises in Pakistan.

We appreciate their significant enthusiasm in accelerating their investment in Special Economic Zones, he said.

Chinese businessmen are almost ready to start operations in the glass, ceramics, and information technology sectors, according to the Prime Minister. In Pakistan, one of the biggest Chinese technology companies will open a local mobile manufacturing unit as well as a research and development centre.
