The business community in Sialkot has raised $0.1 million for the family of the slain Sri Lankan citizen, according to Prime Minister Imran Khan, who also stated that the victim’s family will continue to receive his monthly income for the rest of their lives.
Imran Khan went on to say that anyone seen using violence in the name of religion will no longer be spared by the government.
At the Prime Minister’s Office, during a condolence call for Sri Lankan national Priyantha Diyawadana, he warned, “From now on, if someone is seen manipulating religion, especially resorting to violence in the name of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the government will not spare them.”
