Prime Minister Imran Khan paid homage to Jamshid Iqbal, a forest department officer who died fighting a forest fire in the Chumurkun-Gole Protected Forest, calling him a hero.
On his own Twitter account, Imran Khan claimed that another Forest Department hero, Jamshid Iqbal, Forester Chitral Forest Division, died in the line of duty while fighting a forest fire in Chumurkun-Gole Protected Forest Compartment No.01.
This isn’t the first time the prime minister has praised officials who have gone above and beyond. Just yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan declared that Constable Jamal Kalhoro would be honoured on Pakistan Day after he was seen saving a man who had fallen off a moving train.
He praised Forest Department Chitral forester Jamshid Iqbal for embracing Shahadat in the course of duty.
