PM Imran Khan seeks Long-Term Residency Policy for Foreign Investors

However, it is not limited to Afghan investors and is open to all countries listed on Pakistan’s Business Visa List (BCL),” stated the Board of Investment official in response to a question following a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to reliable sources, the idea of granting citizenship/residency to foreign investors was discussed at the meeting, with a special focus on Afghans living in Pakistan. The idea of granting citizenship to foreign investors was initially focused on Afghan investors, but it was later approved to begin the process of offering Pakistan citizenship to investors from other nations as well.
