PM Shehbaz Leaves For Saudi Arabia on Two-Day Visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif embarked on a two-day trip to Saudi Arabia on Saturday. He’s attending a special meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Riyadh. The meeting focuses on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development.

Prime Minister Sharif was invited by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud and WEF Founder Professor Klaus Schwab. He’s accompanied by key members of the federal cabinet. They will represent Pakistan’s views on global issues like health, financial technologies, IT, and regional cooperation.

During his visit, Prime Minister Sharif will also hold meetings with leaders from around the world and heads of international organizations. These meetings will take place alongside the WEF event.

This isn’t Prime Minister Sharif’s first visit to Saudi Arabia. He previously met with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Their discussions focused on strengthening the ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

They also explored opportunities for collaboration in various sectors. Additionally, Prime Minister Sharif performed Umrah and prayed inside the Ka’aba during his previous visit.
