PM Shehbaz Sharif Leaves for UK to Attend Coronation Ceremony of King Charles-III

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, departed for London on Wednesday in order to be present for King Charles III’s coronation on May 6. PM Shehbaz stated in a brief statement today that the two nations have been “great friends” and that he will meet with other foreign leaders while on the trip.

The prime minister tweeted that he was leaving for the UK today to represent Pakistan at His Majesty King Charles III’s coronation ceremony. The relationships between the UK and Pakistan are based on a shared past and have developed into strong ties over time. The king of the United Kingdom and his family have long been close friends with Pakistan.

PM Shehbaz, who would fly in a special aircraft, may make a technical layover in Istanbul en route to London before landing in Saudi Arabia on his journey back to his country.

According to the sources, the one-way stopover schedule is still being finalised.

The prime minister and his cabinet members had intensive consultations yesterday. The drill, according to the sources, was a part of his trip preparations for London.
