PM Shehbaz Sharif to Attend Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s Funeral Prayers in Iran Tomorrow

Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, will travel to Iran on Wednesday to pay his respects and offer condolences at the funeral of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who tragically passed away in a helicopter crash. The funeral ceremonies for President Raisi and his Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who also lost his life in the crash, will take place over three days. The funeral processions began today, and the president’s body has been brought to Tehran, the capital city of Iran, where it will lie in state until Thursday, May 22.
