President House witnessed a historic moment when the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi awarded the Voce Prime Minister of China, He Lifeng with Hilal-e-Pakistan.
The impressive ceremony was held in Islamabad on the 10th anniversary of CPEC on 31st July 2023. Prestigious Pakistan’s second-highest civil award is granted to He Lifeng in recognition of his contribution to the Pakistan-China friendship and for promoting and strengthening the project China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Several notable personalities attended the ceremony including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, National Assembly Speaker, Services Chiefs, federal ministers, Senate Chairman, and parliamentarians. The esteemed Chinese Vice Premier, He Lifeng was honored as a special guest.
The event marks a moment of profound importance, symbolizing the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and China.
