In a digital launch event, Proton Pakistan finally unveiled the much-anticipated sedan, Proton Saga. After Proton X70, Saga is Proton’s second car in Pakistan. Standard MT (Manual Transmission), Standard AT (Auto Transmission), and Ace AT (Auto Transmission) are the three models of Al-Haj Proton’s Saga sedan (Auto Transmission).
A unique aspect of the Saga’s launch in Pakistan is that Al-Haj Motors has also released a limited-edition Sports variant of the vehicle. R3 stands for ‘Race, Rally, and Study,’ and it was created to give Pakistanis a taste of Proton’s motorsports vehicles. Just 100 CBU units of this version are available from Al-Haj Proton.
The Honda City, Toyota Yaris, and Changan Alsvin are all direct competitors for the Saga. The car, however, has a rather low price, making it a competitor of a few hatchback options, such as the Kia Picanto, Suzuki Cultus AGS, and all of which are priced similarly to the new sedan entrant.
Prices starts from Rs 1.97 million to Rs 2.22 million.
