The new trophy for the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League was revealed at the Polo Ground of Race Course Park in Lahore. Many important people were there, like Mohsin Naqvi, who is in charge of the PCB, owners of the teams, representatives from HBL, and famous cricket players.
Different captains from various teams were also there. There was Mohammad Rizwan from Multan Sultans, Sarfaraz from Quetta Gladiators, Shan Masood from Karachi Kings, and Babar Azam from Peshawar Zalmi.
During the event, Babar Azam said that Peshawar Zalmi has a good team with better bowling skills now. He is hopeful about how the team will perform and mentioned players like Saeem Ayub and Muhammad Haris. Shadab Khan also spoke about the champions’ strong performance expected, mentioning key players like the Shah Brothers and Obaid Shah.
