PTA Fines Rs. 30 Million On Jazz Due To Poor Quality Network

Jazz has been recently fined Rs. 30 million by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) for poor service quality in more than a half-dozen cities across Pakistan.

Jazz was fined after failing to meet the Quality of Services Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in seven cities, according to the PTA.

It’s worth noting that PTA conducted a QoS survey in December 2020, and Jazz was found to fall short of the basic service quality standards.

If the licensee fails to comply, legal action will be taken against him or her according to the law.

However, this judgement was reached by a panel led by Chairman PTA Maj. Gen. Amir Azeem Bajwa (R).
