PTA ‘Starts Restoring’ Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Services in Pakistan

Internet services were suspended across the country due to political unrest on Wednesday, 10th May 2023. However, the government announced on Monday that the internet services will be restored, and all the social media platforms will be accessible to people without any restriction.

Although still many people are facing the issues, however it is said that internet will be restored completely. The internet suspension was done during the violent protests in the wake of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s arrest.

Internet suspension has caused many online businesses huge losses including Digital services providers, Foodpanda, Uber, Careem, Indrive, and others. The social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube were completely restricted.

PTA has now announced that actions to restore the internet services are now being taken.
