Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a big plan to help students in the province. This year, the Punjab government will give 100,000 free electric bikes to students. Along with the bikes, the government will also provide 100,000 laptops and 50,000 merit scholarships. These steps aim to make education easier and support talented young people.
Maryam Nawaz shared more initiatives for schools. The government will set up new Nawaz Sharif Schools in every tehsil. They also plan to build 300 modern schools. A big amount of Rs. 40 billion will be spent to improve existing government schools. This money will help add better classrooms, new furniture, clean drinking water, good washrooms, and modern labs for AI, IT, and science.
To make travel safer for students, the Green Electric Bus service will be expanded across more areas. This will give students a clean and safe way to reach school.
The Chief Minister also spoke about safety during the rainy season. She asked parents to keep their children away from dangerous places like rivers and low-lying areas to avoid accidents.
These initiatives show the Punjab government’s focus on better education and student welfare. The free electric bikes will reduce travel problems and encourage more students to attend school regularly.
